This is Untitled Space Game (USG), a planet defence game where you protect the Earth from alien entities with missiles, and power-ups. This game has mechanics  that were merged from both Space Invaders and Asteroids into a single game project.

GAMEPLAY

- Protect the Earth from the alien enemies for as long as possible, as they try to destroy it.

- Use the power ups to keep ahead of the alien entities, you can heal your ship, get stronger bullets, speed up or wipe them off the screen entirely.

- The planet/ship can both lose damage if they're hit by an enemy. If the planet or the ship loses all its health, it's game over and the aliens win!

With ‘USG’, I hoped to provide a unique approach to the ‘shoot em up’ genre while trying to make something that feels faithful to the arcade games of old.

I actually enjoyed playing this game. Most of my time was spinning in circles screaming "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH". 9/10. Lots of fun.
